What do you do in the space?
I am a passionate cannabis professional with experience in every aspect of the industry. From cultivation, manufacturing, distributing, lab testing, retail, and business development. Currently I am the Director of Project Management at Beard Bros Pharms/Beard Bros Media. My skill set runs the gamut from providing white glove service to small and medium brands to helping large companies create and manage their yearly packaging inventory across multiple states. The utilization of these skills has afforded me to set up all internal processes and launch product offerings in CA, MA, MO, and Canada for Beard Bros Pharms.
What has been the best part about being in the industry/community?
I am extremely grateful to have found a community of like minded individuals, especially women, who have immersed themselves in all the benefits that plant medicine has to offer us both personally and professionally. To be at the forefront of an emerging industry and holistic wellness movement such as this is both an honor and a privilege. I am here to educate and advocate whenever I can, and soak up all the new knowledge I can get my hands on.
How has developing a community of other women in cannabis impacted you?
I feel like I found my Tribe! Women need to stick together and support each other as much as possible. That’s one thing that was immediately apparent to me at the August/Summer Pool Party event. Let’s be honest, smoking one of my hand-rolled doinks is a lot more fun with a group of friends.
