What do you do in the space?

Cultivation on our off-grid regeneratively grown farm, Arcanna Flowers; plus brand marketing, brand and bulk sales, small farmer advocacy for Mendocino County and Emerald Triangle farmers.

What has been the best part about being in the industry/community?

The amazing people I would have never met or become friends with otherwise. I love all the farmers and community. I’m always trying to help maintain our culture and community base by encouraging and helping other farmers get out there. We started Mendocino Generations a farmer alliance in 2015, and we had 65 farm members. The goal was to help folks get and stay compliant with local and state regs to move forward with licensing. Many didn't make it through due to low prices, over regulation, to much bureaucracy and so on.

How has developing a community of other women in cannabis impacted you?

The women are making it all worth it right now! I look forward to gathering with women, not just because we all get it, but because most women I meet are so sincere and non-competitive, building bonds and community, making friends and just being real. We aim to help lift each other up and not drag each other down. We need to remember we hold up half the sky and together we can make it beautiful and fulfilling work!
